Pancakes for Parkinson’s was founded in 2004 with the idea that the community here at UVA could come together and in one morning, make an indelible mark on the international fight against Parkinson’s Disease.  Our vision was that for one day every fall semester students would decorate the historic Lawn, serve free pancakes, educate people about Parkinson’s disease, and collect donations to benefit the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research. Collectively over the last four years we have raised over $100,000 and served thousands of people pancakes.
